Thanks from the Redemptorists!
Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
On behalf of all my Redemptorist confreres, THANK YOU to the Parish Life Committee and many volunteers who put together a wonderful weekend of celebration! We CSSR are humbled by your outpouring of love and affection and so grateful for your kindness and generosity. May our gracious God surround you all with His gentle peace and joy and love!
Personally, I will be celebrating my last Sunday Masses with you next weekend. I will celebrate the 4:15pm Mass on Saturday August 17th, and the 9:00am Mass on Sunday August 18th. The reason for these being my last public Masses is that I will be having a total knee replacement surgery on August 22nd and will then have several weeks of physical therapy to recover. Many of you who have had this surgery have told me how important it is to do the exercises and therapy to get the knee in good and stable condition. Depending on the progress of the therapy, it will determine how long I will be here in GR before traveling to Tucson. I plan to stay here in the rectory until my surgeon gives me the green light. Please pray for a successful surgery and recovery! Thank you so much for your concern and prayers!
May God bless us all with His joy and deep peace as we journey together during these times of transition.
Gratefully, Fr. Pat, C.Ss.R.
