Message from Fr. Rick

It has been brought to my attention by a couple parishioners that someone is using my name to solicit the purchase of gift cards. I would never ask that you send me money or gift cards personally. If I ever did request something it would be for and to the parish. And while I know that you would come to my aid if I was in trouble, I would not ask it. I would, of course, turn to my Redemptorist confreres just as you would turn to your own families. Whenever you get requests like this always double check with the person making the request. It is sad to say it, but we all need to be a little suspicious. It doesn’t hurt to ask questions and double check numbers and addresses.
