Thank You

A letter regarding our Mission Trip to Baldwin:

I don’t think I have ever witnessed giving and service the way that St Alphonsus allowed the love of our Heavenly Father to flow through them, from the chili cook-off to the critical repair.

I especially admired your administrative skill and learned so much from you in those short few weeks we interacted. Your group deposited so much more than money and resources, you showed us how to give but not in a condescending manner. You showed us how things can change through hard work.

I am grateful for the many relationships I formed with so many of the volunteers and feel our bond will continue unbroken.

I could go on and on and still only scratch the surface of how much I appreciate you and your team of volunteers.

The home in Webber is almost complete. We are making the suggested changes you gave us outside the ReStore. Vince and Colleen came back up last week to do more work on Sue’s house repair. I have asked Sue to apply for MISHDA funding so we can complete the repairs on her home. When our board members entered the great room and kitchen your team painted they couldn't believe the difference.

Lake County Habitat for Humanity appreciates your sacrifice and service.

I pray we are able to connect again at some point. Please let me know about the soup cook-off next year so I can participate.

Keep us in your prayers as we serve His purpose through great people like you.

Yours in His service,

Denise Suttles
