Ukrainian Relief Efforts

Very Reverend Stephen T. Rehrauer, C.Ss.R., Provincial Superior, Redemptorists of the Denver Province, provides the St. Alphonsus Parish Community with an update on Redemptorist Ukrainian relief efforts.

Dear St. Alphonsus Parish Community,

The Redemptorists of the Denver Province wish to thank you for your recent generous contribution to our missionary and relief work in the Ukraine.

Your generous gift has been sent by way of our General Government in Rome to the Redemptorist Communities in the Ukraine. Your donation is being used by them to care for the physical and spiritual needs of the Ukrainian people by providing food, medicine, temporary shelter, and to help in the relocation of countless refugees during this time of great suffering. We Redemptorists, and the Ukrainian Catholic faithful we serve, are truly grateful for your financial and physical support during this terrible conflict. They have asked us to express their gratitude to you for your solidarity with them in prayer.

I am also including here a letter from our Redemptorist Superior General Michael Brehl, C.Ss.R. that offers more details on our Redemptorist Ukrainian relief efforts.

Please continue to pray with and for our sisters and brothers in the Ukraine for a lasting peace. Be assured also that the Redemptorists keep you, your intentions and your loved ones in our daily prayers and Masses at our house chapel in Chicago. May Mary, Our Mother of Perpetual Help, continue to intercede on our behalf.

Thank you again for your gift and may God bless you.

In Christ the Redeemer,
Very Reverend Stephen T. Rehrauer, C.Ss.R.
