We will have three Redemptorist seminarians with us this summer. They will be with us to experience various ministries at St. Alphonsus Parish. Fr. Chung shares a brief biography of each seminarian. We welcome them all to our parish family!

John Nguyen is originally from Portland, Oregon, and after graduating from high school, he attended the University of Dallas. He went to the University of Dallas for a year and a half and transferred to St.John's University where he joined the American Redemptorists of the Denver Province. John currently resides in The Bronx, where he studied Philosophy. Some of his hobbies are playing basketball, going camping or golfing with a few friends, and praying. Ever since he lived in New York, he would say that his new hobby is hanging out with his fellow seminarian brothers in Time Squares. Huan's favorite quotation, which motivates him in life, is "Let us always meet each other with a smile, for the smile is the beginning of love" (St. Mother Teresa).
