New Redemptorist Staff

Our newly assigned Redemptorists have arrived to join Fr. Bernie Carlin in the St. Alphonsus community. When you see them around the parish introduce yourself and welcome them to St. Al's!

Father Thomas Santa is the new superior of the Redemptorist community and assumes other responsibilities with the Denver Province. Since 2015, he served at St. Alphonsus Parish in Minneapolis as director of the New Evangelization Initiative.

Father Rick Potts is the new pastor at St. Alphonsus, he previously served as pastor at St. Alphonsus “Rock” Liguori Church in St. Louis, Missouri. 

Father Chung Tran, a newly ordained priest, is assigned as associate pastor at St. Alphonsus. He previously served at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Whittier, California.

Father Joseph Butz, former associate pastor at St. Mary of the Assumption Parish in Whittier, California, will be in residence at St. Alphonsus as senior members of the order. 

Brother Leo Patin, former Administrator at the Blessed Seelos Welcome Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, will also be in residence at St. Alphonsus as a senior member of the order.

Father Bernie Carlin remains at St. Alphonsus as associate pastor.
