Bridge Classes

St. Al's Bridge will hold a series of four (4) bridge classes on popular conventions and competitive bidding starting Monday, January 13 in the Parish Center, Room 301. The classes will go from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm each week. Learn Stayman, Jacoby Transfers, 2 Clubs (strong opening), Weak 2's, Doubles (penalty, takeout and negative) and Over- calls. These are the most common bridge conventions and bidding methods played today. Classes are free and we welcome all. Come alone or with a partner. Advance registration is required. We encourage (but do not require) students to buy a copy of Audrey Grant's Popular Conventions book ($12).
