March 13 Fish Fry Update
In response to recommendations from the State of Michigan, Bishop Walkowiak is issuing the following guidelines for parishes in the diocese who are holding fish fries, effective immediately:
Any parish fish fries where more than 100 people are gathered in a single space indoors should be postponed or canceled until further notice. Parishes may consider drive-thru fish fries.
In response to this requirement, St. Al's Fish Fry for Friday, March 13 will be DRIVE-THRU ONLY from 4:30-7:00pm. The doors to the building will be locked and there will be no eat in or take out service like previous weeks.
DRIVE-THRU ONLY service will be available via the Leonard Street (Catherine's Health Center) parking lot. Please enter the parking lot via Carrier Street, to Lafayette, into the parking lot (workers will direct you into the lot). Please DO NOT enter parking lot via Leonard Street.
Once in the parking lot, workers will take your payment and deliver your dinner directly to your car. The menu choice will be either baked or fried fish. All dinners will include french fries, dinner roll, and cole slaw. Prices will remain the same as previous weeks: $11 adults, $9 seniors (+65), $4 kids (5-12 yrs).
Since these guidelines were issued late today (March 12) we would appreciate if parishioners can spread the word to friends and family about the change in service.
