Jesus Mission - March 15-18

Join the St. Alphonsus parish community for "Jesus: God Made Present" evenings of prayer, song, ritual, a consistent theological reflection, and the preached word.

The evening sessions will be on Sunday, March 15 through Wednesday, March 18 from 7:00pm-8:15pm in the church. We will have morning sessions on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday in the parish center lounge, after the 9:00am daily masses. The morning sessions will be a reflection on the night before, but if you cannot make the evening session you will still benefit from the morning ones.

Open your hearts to the fullness of the revelation of the Son of God. Hear the words of invitation to the fullness of life gifted by the Incarnate Word of God. Be formed, engaged, challenged, and come to recognize the power of God’s grace at work in the community and in your life.

In these few days you will be nourished through the power of the gospel proclaimed. The preached word, the ministry of music, prayer and shared ritual, a consistent theological reflection and the sharing of faith in Jesus will provide the content of the gathering.

We seek to deepen our relationship with him, as our Savior and our Lord. In our listening and participation, we seek to restore and reclaim a relationship that has been set aside or lost; perhaps refresh that which has become stagnant. Experience the gift of spiritual nourishment and grace through the power of God’s life and love.
