Haiti Special Collection

Bishop Walkowiak has asked for a special collection to be taken up in all parishes of the diocese to assist the people of Haiti. A second collection will be taken during all the masses this weekend in support of this effort. Haitians are coping with widespread devastation following a 7.2 magnitude earthquake on Saturday, August 14. Rescue and recovery efforts were further complicated by Tropical Storm Grace which hit the island just days later.

All monies collected from this special collection will be sent to Catholic Relief Services. If you would prefer to donate online, the link to give directly to Haiti relief can be found at crs.org
