Funeral Mass for Pope Benedict

The Holy See Press Office has released additional details regarding Thursday’s funeral Mass for Pope Benedict XVI (prayers and readings for the funeral). The funeral begins at 9:30 am Rome time (3:30 am EST).

EWTN will broadcast the funeral live beginning at 3:00am. Replays of the funeral will air at 3:00pm and 9:00pm EST. (Channel finder). It can also be viewed live on EWTN’s YouTube channel.

This Thursday, parishes across the diocese will celebrate a special Mass for the repose of the soul of Pope Benedict XVI. Bishop Walkowiak will celebrate the 12:05 pm daily Mass at the Cathedral of Saint Andrew on Thursday for the intention of Pope Benedict XVI.
