Coming to America, The Refugee Experience concludes Tuesday, November 19, 10:00-11:30am and Thursday, November 21, 6:30-8:00pm

Session Three: Serving at the Border. Sisters Janet Brown, OP, Chela Gonzalez, OP, Mary Kay Oosdyke, OP, and Joyce Ann Hertzig, OP from the Dominican Sisters Grand Rapids, will share their personal experience serving at the US-Mexican border. What led them to take the challenge? What surprised them the most? What inspired their tears of joy and grief? “For it is in giving, that we shall receive.” All events will take place at St. Alphonsus Parish Center Lounge. Questions?
