Session Two: Faces Seen, Hearts Unknown. Yolanda Vega and Anna Bonnema, Professors from Hope College will share their experiences of visiting a refugee camp in Athens and a non-governmental organization serving refugee women there. Both have also had interactions with those affected by the issues at the U.S./Mexico border. How do they hold these experiences and how are the experiences forming their faith, work and everyday lives? What have they learned from refugees and asylum seekers and the communities who support them? We invite you to come hear the stories about our shared humanity and the people behind the politics. All events will take place at St. Alphonsus Parish Center Lounge. Questions? Contact: 616.913.4419 or email vscholten18@gmail.com
