The Education Endowment formally began in 1994 as the St. Alphonsus School Endowment Fund. Our charter and scope altered when the parish school merged with the schools of neighboring parishes to create All Saints Academy. We then expanded to include all educational endeavors in our parish. It is now known as the St. Alphonsus Parish Education Endowment Fund. The Education Endowment is governed by a volunteer board of directors as well as our pastor. It is a vital component in the finances of our parish, providing a permanent and sustainable source of funding for a variety of important needs that advance Catholic education and faith formation at St. Al's!  

These funds provide the basis for grants and scholarships each year, supplying support for faith formation programs and tuition assistance for parish families enrolled in All Saints Academy. We also have been involved in capital improvements to our educational facilities, the youth programs, music programs, exceptional learners program and much more.

Current Funds within the Education Endowment, totaling over $1,000,000 are:

• General Fund

• Fr. Denis Ryan Fund          

• Tom Barnes Teacher Enrichment Fund

• Dominican Scholarship Fund

• Sean Earl Memorial Fund

• Founder’s Fund in honor of Linda Parker

Donations can be added to any of the current Funds or a new Named Fund can be created in honor of or in memorial of your loved one. Since gifts made to the foundation are carefully invested and managed, they continue to provide a permanent source of assistance to support our Endowment's mission. Your gift will honor the past, support the present and provide for the future of our parish family. All contributions to the Education Endowment are tax deductible and can be made through the parish office, online or by designating St. Alphonsus Education Endowment Fund in estate planning documents.
