Sister Jean is survived by her sisters, Rosemary Brown and Marilyn Hefferan and her brother, John (Peg) Milhaupt of Grand Rapids; many friends, Sisters in her Dominican Community, the Aquinas College Community and the St. Alphonsus Parish Community. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials in Sister Jean Milhaupt’s name may be made to the Grand Rapids Dominican Sisters Health Care Fund.

It’s time to celebrate!  The evening beings with Mass at 5:15pm followed by dinner, dance and much more in the St. Alphonsus Parish Center from 6:00pm to midnight. Music by OTC. During the third stage of painting, all entrances to the church will remain open. Handicap access to the church is available through the west entrance via the parking lot ramp or through the east entrance via the circle drive.

During this project the following Masses will be celebrated in the church: 8:00am and 5:15pm Saturday; 7:00am, 9:00am, 11:00am and 5:15pm Sunday. All weekday Masses will be celebrated in the chapel located in the Parish Center Lounge. Enter through the doors on Carrier Street and follow the signs to the chapel.

Our Inquiry sessions will begin on October 2nd and will continue for four weeks. Inquiry is a time to answer questions and earnestly begin the process of RCIA.
